Thank You Bebe!!!

Last Christmas I took this picture of Gracie in the snow. I thought it was darling.

I wanted to remember it always so Bebe painted it for me. She is an amazing artist and we will have it for Gracie to enjoy for many years to come.

Swimming

After school Gracie came to me and said "Mommy I haven't been to swim lessons in a long time!" I panicked as we forgot to take her yesterday. I called Mockingbird Swim and we headed up there. Here are the pictures I took today.

Gracie is a helper

Gracie is cracking me up. She has become a little version of me. I was trying to run out the door and make a target run before nap time. Tyler called so I set Caroline down. I usually make them both wear shoes, but in a time crunch I decided to skip it. When I turned around Gracie had gotten out matching socks and shoes for Caroline to put on. She was telling her,"hold still and put your foot in!". Caroline was going right along with it. They make me smile!!

Giggle Giggle, Quack

This afternoon I took Gracie to the Dallas Children's Theater to see "Giggle Giggle, Quack". She loved every minute of it! It was fun for me too because I used to read these books to my class.

We were headed out the door and she said, "Mommy, what about Hen?" We had forgotten to get her signature. We headed back in and got it. It was a great afternoon!

Jackson Hole

We have had a great mini 5 day, but we can't wait to get home and see the girls. We have been to the rodeo, rafting, fly fishing, spent a day at the spa and so much else.
Jackson Hole is amazing!!! God's canvas here is remarkable! We can't wait to bring the girls here some day. Thanks Lindsay and Art for hosting us!!!! It was a great time away from the kids and lots of great adventures!!!

Bebe and Grandad here we come!

We are headed to Jackson Hole in the morning for a much needed mini Vaca. I dropped the girls off in Ft. Worth so Bebe and Aunt Lindsey could take them back to Wichita Falls. When they got there Grandad had decorated and put up a playhouse. Here are some pics.

Caroline has started waving! This is the first picture I have gotten of it. Katie Layton took it at dinner time tonight. Caroline is a mess because she has decided she wants to hold the spoon herself. She is VERY independent!!! (and mobile!)

Gracie Graduated

Today Gracie graduated from the toddler class at swim school. She started out in the toddler class, but tonight her instructor decided to move her up to the class without parents. She did WONDERFUL!!!! Tyler said it was so funny because she was the smallest one by a foot and the youngest one by almost a year. She is our little fish! Here are some pictures of her when she came home to tell me.

Daddy's Day Off

Daddy got a day off and headed to Lake Fork with James. Look what he caught!

One Tired Caroline

Caroline has the second child syndrome. She has to take her morning nap wherever we are. I try to be at home whenever possible, bit ut doesnt happen all the time. Today it was coming home from church. This bottle thing is new to me since Gracie took only a few bottles before she turned one. It is great to let her feed herself on the run. I have to say that Caroline adjusts well and is ready for anything. She truly is our "sweet Caroline". I found her this week standing by the toilet and swishing around in the water. She is so much quicker than I remember Gracie being. I guess she has to be to keep up with her big sister!!! Gracie drags her by the angles everywhere when she won't crawl. At first it scared me, but when I realized Caroline was dying laughing I had to let it go. They are the best of friends!!!

Today we hung a swing at the lake between rain storms. Thanks Uncle Thomas for helping us!

Now days, before I know it, Caroline can get into everything. This morning I was getting Gracie ready for school and I came back and found Caroline reading the paper. She pulled it off the table and was having the best time. When I grabbed my phone to take a picture she looked at me like...Mom, what are you doing? I just wanted to see what Daddy reads about every Morning.
