Houston

The girls and I headed to Houston last weekend for a fun packed weekend. It was Papas Birthday, Aunt A's baby shower and Pops had just gotten out of the hospital and settled in his new place. We went to see Pops when we arrived. He is in such a great place right now and getting all of the help he needs. Friday night my parents had all of Adriane's family, Kirsten, Gram, Aunt Lucy, Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike over for Papas Birthday. It was so fun getting to see everyone! Danny and Adriane announced the babies name...Meredith Ann Mraz. We love the name and can't wait to meet her at the end of September. Sat morning Gracie and I got a haircut before heading to Adriane's shower. We got to see all of Kay Kay's friends we haven't seen for a long time. Then we headed home to celebrate Papas birthday by the pool. Sunday we went to see the adorable nursery and goodbye to Pops before heading back to Dallas. It was so crazy I barely took any pictures. Here are two cute ones Kirsten took if the girls and their great aunts.

Potty Trained

Well it is official...Gracie is fully potty trained. She has been potty trained since the beginning of June during the day, but I still had her in pull ups at night. I despise changing sheets so I was scared to let her try it at night. Plus, with two little ones my sleep is so precious to me. In Colorado I finally let her try it. She did amazing and hadn't had an accident yet!(knock on wood!) She has also started going all by herself without telling me. She is really good at knowing when she has to go and taking care of it all by herself. She is SO BIG! We are so excited to have only Caroline in diapers.

What do you do on a rainy day? Make Kool Aid Play dough of course!

Caroline 9 month check up

We had Carolines 9 month check up a few weeks ago. She is doing great. She weighs almost 15 pounds. She has moved to solids and 5 bottles a day. She loves her sippy cup. She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything. She is also a climber. She loves to climb onto the toilet. She loves her sister and is saying Mama and Dada. She is still very easy going and follows Gracie everywhere. She loves to play peek-a-boo and cracks her self up all the time. She watches everything we do and studies the steps to things. We can't wait for her to start talking more so we will know what she is thinking. We love you
Sweet Caroline!!!

Bath Time Fun

We started a tradition when Gracie was born. Daddy always gives the baths. This is a great thing for me because while they are in the bath I can make lunches, pack bags and get a load of laundry in. The girls love their "Daddy Baths!" Lately it has been fun with bubbles. Here are some of the cute pictures Tyler has taken of them in the bath this summer.

Random Summer Pictures

Here are some fun pictures that I found on my camera from the summer...

Miss Priss! Everything has to be pink. She even wants our next house to be pink. I have to be careful where I leave my makeup. She loves to put it on and can now open everything. She makes us laugh!

Little Miss Blue Eyes. Only 14.5 lbs she is tiny but mighty! She gets into everything!
Rocksar Caroline. Tyler lets Gracie play with the guitar. When we came in the room Gracie had it on Caroline. We are proud of her for sharing so nicely!
This is Caroline's favorite spot. I run the dishwasher daily and this is where she stands whild I unload.
Gracie is into checking on Caroline when she wakes up. She always wants to jump in her crib.

Lake McQueeney 4th of July

Our Family Tradition is spending the 4th of July at Lake McQueeney. It is so much fun. There is a boat parade and water balloon war every year. Uncle Thomas came this year and we had a blast with him. Uncle Jeff had a bunch of friends too. Here are the long lost pictures from the 4th. Thanks KayKay and Papa for having us!

PK Memorial Day

I am so behind on posts...these are some pics from Memorial Day. Tyler took the girls to the lake by himself while I was on a girls trip in Miami. The girls had a blast but we were so excited to see each other when they picked me up from the airport! Time away was fun, but I was ready to see them!

Sea World & Lake McQueeney

We braved the heat and headed to Sea World with the girls. We didn't know what we were getting into. We went on a Friday so we thought it wouldn't be very crowded...boy we were wrong. Gracie kept saying I want to see Shampoo..ie Shamoo. So funny. We fed the dolphins first thanks to Daddy. He stood in line while we played for 30 min. It was so cool to get to pet them. Then we sprinted across the park to see "Shampoo" The show started early so we were running around like crazy. We also got to see the Sea Lion show. We packed in a lot in one morning, but next time we will be more prepared.
