Real Food

Jack had his "meal" tonight. It was really by accident. He kept reaching for the pasta so I decided to give a tiny bite
He went crazy and cried until we fed him more...a lot more. I've never seen a baby eat so much. He loved it. He also loved the avocados in my salad. What can I say...he's a typical third kid! After three weeks of baby food we are both over it!

Mom just give me the spoon. Your too slow.

It was a little slippery for him but he managed to get a few bites in his mouth before getting frustrated.

What a messy eater!

Jack update

I forgot how much babies learn in a short amount of time so I'm posting another update so I can remember when he was doing everything. I feel like I tell my mom he isn't doing something and I turn around and he is doing it. He loves to eat. He can pick up puffs and feed himself, gobbles up mum mums like they are candy, finishes the entire container of baby food and then stares at my plate until I share. He had his first saltine cracker at the restaurant Friday night and loves refried beans. He is into everything and will go from sitting to his tummy to reach something. He loves his books and wants to be playing all the time. The times of entertaining only two kids are over for me! Jack gets bored easily. After a long battle he is finally taking 1-2 bottles of formula a day. He laughed at me yesterday too. We are loving every busy minute of it!

Oh I almost forgot...he loves to splash water in the tub and cracks himself up. I set him in the bumbo and turned my back to a 1/2 empty fish bowl. Boys are different!!!!

Gracie is 4!

Gracie turned 4 last week. We celebrated her Birthday for two weeks straight. She had a swimming party, celebrated at school, celebrated with Daddy before he left for NYC and then celebrated her real Birthday too. Gracie has gotten so big. She is really into painting and drawing. She will color whenever she can. She is a big help with Caroline and Jack. She can get Caroline dressed after bath time and can pick up and tend to Jack as needed too. I don't know what I would do without her. She can write her name along with everyone in our family's, is starting to decode words with help, draws beautiful pictures, can work the tv all by herself, dresses herself, puts her laundry away, makes her bed, knows her left from right, remembers words to songs, rides her bike with training wheels, can climb on all the playground equipment, loves to dance, has given up her naps and can cary on an adult conversation. She is a rule follower! She loves Jesus and sings the blessing every night. We love you sweet Gracie!
