Time has flown by!!! Caroline is almost 7 months and Gracie almost 26.
Gracie is such a joy! She is always cracking us up and making everyone follow the rules. She loved to talk to everyone everywhere she goes. After I pick her up from school she can tell me what they did, who was absent and who had to sit in time out. She has moved out of her crib and now loves her big girl bed. She knows her shapes, colors, letters, and so many words I couldn't even tell you how many. She is so gentle will all the little babies around. She is a great big sister to Caroline and has figured out how to share with her. It fills my heart with joy to see them playing and laughing together. Gracie reads to her, finds her toys for her and can always make her stop fussing. At her 2 year check up she weighed 26 pounds. She loves school and going to the park. Gracie is testing the waters a bit to see what she can get away with. She has quickly learned that her Daddy is more of a softy. Love and Logic has been a lifesaver the past few months to nip the twos in the bud. She is a also cautious child, always wanting to please. She loves to sort everything by color and build with Lego's. Puzzles are her FAVORITE things in the whole world and now she is doing 20 piece puzzles all by herself. She continues to amaze us and her teachers at school. She remembers EVERYTHING so we have to be so careful about what we say to her.
Meanwhile Caroline has grown into this adorable little girl. At her 6 month check up she weighed 13.2 lbs. She is a tiny thing but as busy as anyone could imagine. Her two bottom teeth appeared last week and she didn't cry about it once. Her favorite toys are her baby dolls, my iPhone, Sophie the giraffe and her singing Teddy bear. She is army crawling, rolling all around, holding her own bottle and going from sitting to the crawling position. The other day I walked into the room and she was standing in the crib. She has also taught her self how to escape out of the Bumbo. Although she is moving at a snails pace, she can get to anything she sets her mind to. We better all watch out for her when she starts moving faster. We all laugh at her as she jumps soo high in her Johnny Jump up and spins around in midair. She ADORES Gracie and always likes to play with whatever Gracie is playing with. Unlike Gracie, she doesn't mind being dirty. I set her in the sandbox and she can play for hours. She loves to play with the sand toys and especially pick up the sand and watch it fall. She can adapt to any situation better than any baby I have seen. When we took her to the museum she just hung out in the stroller and watched everyone. We didn't hear a peep from her. She is eating lots of foods now but her favorite is the Apple Vanilla Oatmeal by Gerber. We can't get it into her mouth fast enough.
The two girls couldn't be more different but I am so blessed they both are sooo sweet. Here are some pictures from the past month. We have been busy!
I love all the pics!! They are just precious!! I saw your Mama yesterday at Meadow Wood... it was so good to see her :)
